The North West Producers Forum (NWPF) exists to unite, champion, and strengthen the community of independent film and television producers across the North West.

We bring producers together to build a collective regional voice capable of influencing policy, shaping funding landscapes, and ensuring the needs of our region are represented at national decision-making tables.

We work to improve access to sustainable development opportunities by addressing long-standing gaps in funding, commissioning routes, skills support and film office infrastructure. Through regular meetings and shared spaces for learning, we foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and practical peer support across all career stages.

We are committed to building an inclusive network that uplifts underrepresented voices, supports working-class talent, and ensures that Northern producers can build long-term careers without being forced to relocate to London.

Long-term, the Forum aims to help lay the foundations for a dedicated North West regional screen agency - a unified body capable of driving production investment, development funding and sustainable industry growth.
